So yeah....A Christmas story, huh? Can you imagine me, little smart mouthed, blaster happy, AJ ending ending up in the kind of story you would tell you're kids to by the fire on a cozy winters evening, or catch on an ABC's Christmas movie marathon? Let alone one that would have a decent ending?

The snow fall around us swirls under the overhead street lamp and is whisked down the empty streets. Somewhere in the distance I can hear a fuzzy radio station belt out an old holiday favorite for the nineteenth time. The kid shoves his hands into his pockets and shifts the snow beneath his foot.
